Install Slide
Install the app from the Shopify App Store or from your Shopify admin. Approve the required permissions when prompted.

Adding the block to your theme
Step 1
Open Theme Editor
In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes → Customize.
Step 2
Add the "Halo Cart Drawer" block
Use the Theme Editor to add the "Halo Cart Drawer" block to your desired template or layout.
Step 3
Save and publish
Save and publish your theme changes. Once your cart is active and added to your theme, customers will see it on your store.

Basics
Cart name & status
Label your design for easy recognition. Set Status to Active or Inactive — only one Active cart at a time.

Colors
Customize background, text, buttons, borders, and shipping bar colors throughout the cart.

Header text
Set a cart title and an empty-cart message shown when there are no items in the cart.

Threshold amount
Set a target amount (e.g., $50). The bar fills and messages update as customers add items until the target is reached.

Set a "Before" message shown until the threshold is reached, and an "After" message shown once the threshold is reached.

Show an input field and customize the button and labels. Customers can apply discount codes directly in the cart.

Add your terms text and link. Optionally require a checkbox before customers can proceed to checkout.
Managing your carts
Create
Create a new slide cart
Design a new version of your cart. Use "Create a new slide cart" to start fresh with a new configuration.
Edit
Edit existing carts
Click a cart name to adjust its settings at any time. Save changes to apply them.
Activate
Set a cart to Active
Set Status to Active to make a cart live. Only one cart can be Active at a time — activating a new one will prompt you to draft the current one.
Delete
Remove a cart
Delete a cart you no longer need. This action is permanent.

FAQ
Can I have more than one active cart at a time?
No. You can create many carts but only one cart can be Active at a time.
My cart doesn't appear on the storefront. What do I do?
Make sure you added the "Halo Cart Drawer" block in your Theme Editor. Ensure your cart status is Active in the app. Save and publish your theme. If it still doesn't appear, confirm the block is added to the correct layout.
Can I customize the cart colors?
Yes. You can customize colors throughout the cart. Fonts follow your theme's styles.
How does the free shipping bar work?
Set a target amount. As customers add items, the bar fills and messages update until the target is reached.
Can I add a discount input field?
Yes. Enable the discount input and customize the labels and button text.
Is the terms checkbox required?
No. It's optional. If enabled, you can make it mandatory before checkout.
